El primer paso. The first step.

"Es muy peligroso, Frodo, cruzar la puerta. Vas hacia el Camino y si no cuidas tus pasos no sabes hacia dónde te arrastrarán."

El primer paso es siempre el más difícil. Pasamos demasiado tiempo pensando en cómo será el Camino.¿Qué me espera al otro lado de la puerta? ¿Debería salir ya? ¿Es ahora un buen momento para hacerlo? ¿Qué extrañas criaturas me encontraré? ¿Y si...? 
Y los pensamientos te robaron el tiempo. Otra vez."Ya es tarde para hacerlo... ya si eso mañana."

Bien, pues éste es mi primer paso. Mi primer paso a lo desconocido y a lo conocido; a la Luz y a la Oscuridad. Mi primer paso a ser aquello que siempre me he negado ser pero que soy. Simplemente Yo.

Éste es mi primer paso a través de una pequeña y estrecha rendija de mi alma al mundo. Es mi primer paso a la aceptación, confianza y apreciación de lo que soy.

"Adiós le decimos al hogar y a la sala

 Aunque sople el viento y caiga la lluvia

 hemos de partir antes que amanezca,

 lejos, por el bosque y la montaña alta."

The first step is always the most difficult. We spend too much time thinking about how's gonna be the Path. What's waiting for me on the other side of the door? Should  I leave yet? Is now a good moment to do so? What strange creatures I'm gonna meet out there? What about...?

And your thoughts stole the time from you. Again. "Anyways, it's too late now... maybe tomorrow."

Well, so this is my first step. My first step to the Unknown and to the Known; to the Light and to the Darkness.

My first step to be what I've 

denied myself to be but I am. Simply Myself.

This is my first step through a little and narrow split of my own soul to the world. This is my first step to embrace what I am.

"Farewell we call to hearth and hall!

Though wind may blow and rain may fall,

We must away ere break of day

Far over wood and mountain tall."
